Unit 5 – ¡Un día fatal! (Talking About Days That Went Wrong)
 
Help your students talk confidently about things that went wrong and describe everyday experiences with this engaging, GCSE-style lesson designed for the Edexcel GCSE Spanish (2024) specification. Students practise three key tenses together — the present, preterite and near future — while developing their ability to use direct object pronouns accurately. In the vocabulary sheet, words marked with an asterisk (*) are intended for Higher Tier students. Words that are both bold and marked with an asterisk (*) are not part of the Edexcel GCSE Spanish (2024) prescribed vocabulary list but have been included because they are useful within the context of the lesson. The vocabulary sheet contains 40 key words and phrases, followed by space for students to record up to 20 additional words they have learnt from the lesson.
